Obedience Foundation Level 1

6 weeks, running:

  • Wednesdays starting March 18, 2026 at 6:30 pm
  • Wednesdays starting March 18, 2026 at 8:00 pm
  • Sundays starting March 22, 2026 at 10:00 am
(No class on Easter weekend, April 5)

Open to all ages, all breeds. Building a strong foundation with your dog is like building a house. Without a strong foundation, the house would soon crumble, thus foundation training is important for the family pet, as well as the dog that will go into other dog sports such as flyball, agility, Rally-O, and conformation. The basic sit, down, stay, come when called, and learning to walk with a loose leash will be introduced in a fun and informal way. This class is a pre-requisite for every other class that KAOS offers. This is the class that will start to create a bond between dog and handler that is more than just a collar and leash.

PREREQUISITES: none

COST: $132

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: flat buckle collar (martingale collars and halties when necessary), 6″ nylon/robe/leather leash
