LEARN THE SKILLS TO PLAY AGILITY!
Jumps, tunnels, weaves, contact equipment, handling skills - you name it and we teach it! Our agility classes are fantastic for both experienced handlers and beginners.
This class will focus on teach the handler and puppy foundation skills that will serve you well no matter what dog sport you end up doing. We will introduce you to games, skills, drills and more that build the handler/dog teammate relationship, focus, impulse control, brain games, intro to obedience, recalls, handling, obstacle familiarization and much more. You and your puppy will do activities with the whole class and also have the opportunity to have one on one floor time too. We also crate train our puppies, essential for any sport dog and is an essential life skill too. This class is meant to be repeated with fresh classes, that build upon each other week to week, over several sessions. You register for each 6 week session as usual.
PREREQUISITES:8 weeks to 1 year old. Must bring a crate and be willing to crate train.
Students have graduated from introductory classes in both obedience and agility to join this working group and are referred by our instructors. We use concept based training and focus on building foundation skills for both the dog and handler. The focus is on drills, grids, handling, sequencing, and goal building. This working group is meant for those wishing to compete.

PREREQUISITES: Agility Foundation 1 Working Group
Canine Fun 101 is an introduction to agility. Each class will start with some focus games and the remainder of the class will be split into two groups, each of which will introduce you and your dog to some of the aspects of agility, all while having fun. This class is a great way to find out if agility is right for you and your dog.
PREREQUISITES: KAOS "Obedience Foundation Level 1"
This class is an intermediate continuation of the Canine Fun 101 class. Activities include tunnel relays, barrel relays, 3-point barrels and other fun handling exercises. This class is primarily run off leash.
PREREQUISITES: Recommended "Level 2 Agility" | "Canine Fun 101" & "Obedience Foundation Level 2"
Agility Level 1 is a class that will start you on a successful path to having fun with your canine partner in agility. This class focuses on the beginning foundations of the sport of agility and will introduce you to some basic, but very important, skills such as proper jump skills, basic handling skills and proper footwork. Some of the agility equipment will be introduced. Although the class is done on leash, dogs should have a good understanding of basic obedience such as sit, down, stay and should have a strong recall.
PREREQUISITES: KAOS “Obedience Foundation Level 1”
Agility Level 2 is a continuation from our Level 1 class. Previously learned skills will be refined and more of the agility equipment will be introduced. Handlers will learn how to improve and expand on their handling skills and be introduced to some basic sequences. This class will be a combination of both on and off leash work, so your dog must have a good understanding of basic obedience such as sit, down, stay and a good recall.
PREREQUISITES: KAOS “Agility – Level 1”
Agility Level 3 is a continuation of our Level 2 Agility. This class is off leash, so you must be able to keep your dog under control at all times. Handlers will be introduced to more advanced handling skills, obstacle discrimination and expanding on distance work introduced in Level 2.
PREREQUISITES: KAOS "Agility - Level 2" or recommendation of a KAOS agility instructor
Come and have some fun with your agility dog and learn handling skills in small sequences of obstacles. This class will improve the dog’s handler focus and promote teamwork between you and your dog before you jump in to running a full course.
PREREQUISITES: "Agility Level 2" and the ability to run a full course off leash
Come and learn how to run an agility course. We will set up courses each week, and show you how to run an agility course by stringing together 3 obstacles at a time, leading up to running an entire course. Dogs must be able to work off leash and have the ability to string together at least 3 obstacles.
PREREQUISITES: Must have "Agility Level 2" (or equivalent), some ‘run’ experience AND the ability to string together a full course of obstacles.
Come join us for some agility fun! This class is designed for those who have some experience in running agility courses already. We’ll set up different courses for you to try out each week to help you achieve your agility goals. Dogs must be able to work off leash and run an agility course.
PREREQUISITES: Must have "Agility Level 2" (or equivalent), some ‘run’ experience AND the ability to string together a full course of obstacles.
Come and have some fun with your agility dog! Learn some new games each week and have fun while refining your dog’s agility skills. Some of the games that you will learn and play are Gamblers, Snooker, Points & Distance and Jumpers.
PREREQUISITES: "Agility Level 2" and the ability to run a full course off leash
Come teach your dog how to weave! Or if they have already started learning how to weave, come practice with us!
The training floor will be divided/fenced into 3 sections, 15’ apart for social distancing with 3 dogs on the floor at the same time. This class is limited to 6 dogs and their handlers.
PREREQUISITES: Dogs must be able to work off leash.
Continue to teach and practice your weaves!
We will work on achieving solid or close to it on straight 6 or 12 poles, with more distractions, harder entrances, and additional equipment.
