Agility Fun Run Groups

6 weeks, running Fridays starting May 8, 2026 at 6:15 pm
(No class on May long weekend, May 15)

Come join us for some agility fun! This class is designed for those who have some experience in running agility courses already. We’ll set up different courses for you to try out each week to help you achieve your agility goals. Dogs must be able to work off leash and run an agility course.

PREREQUISITES: Must have “Agility – Level 3” (or equivalent), some ‘run’ experience AND the ability to string together a full course of obstacles.

CLASS FORMAT: We’re updating the format of our agility class to allow us to accommodate a larger number of participants in a single 6-week session.
Depending on registration numbers, the class will be divided into two or three groups. These groups will rotate throughout the 6-week session, with a different group attending each week. The total number of sessions each group receives will depend on how many groups are formed.
Once registration is complete and the number of groups is finalized, the Agility Class Coordinator will assign specific dates/cost for each group.

COST: Pricing will be determined based on the total number of groups and the number of sessions each group receives

CARO Rally Obedience and Working Level

6 weeks, running:

  • Thursdays starting March 19, 2026 at 1:00 pm
  • Thursdays starting March 19, 2026 at 2:30 pm

Come join us to learn and practice Rally Obedience and Working Level in CARO Rally-O! We will divide the room for students to practice both rally and working. 

Not sure if the Working Level is for you? The classes in Working allow dogs and handlers to demonstrate their versatility by executing exercises from a variety of sports, including obedience, scent detection, agility and more.

PREREQUISITES: “Obedience Foundation Level 1” and must be able to work off leash

COST: $132

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: flat buckle collar (martingale collars and halties when necessary), 6″ nylon/robe/leather leash

CARO Rally Obedience – for those with previous Rally experience

6 weeks, running Tuesdays starting March 17, 2026 at 6:30 pm.

Come learn what CARO Rally-O is all about!  Learn the signs, practice what you know, and have fun!

Dogs and handlers are introduced to the exercises and how to use those exercises to execute the signs for the sport of Rally-O. Rules of the game are taught.

 

PREREQUISITES: “Obedience Foundation Level 2” or recommendation from instructor and previous experience in Rally

CARO Rally-O – Getting Ready to Trial

6 weeks, running Thursdays starting Nov 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm and 2:15 pm

Come and practice with us!! 

Dogs and handlers will have the opportunity to polish up their skills while in the company of judges and other competitors.

PREREQUISITES: Advanced level Rally-O class | Trial experience  | Recommendation from instructor

Agility Foundation 1 Working Group (FULL)

Class runs continuously. Start date: March 17

Students have graduated from introductory classes in both obedience and agility to join this working group and are referred by our instructors. We use concept based training and focus on building foundation skills for both the dog and handler. The focus is on drills, grids, handling, sequencing, and goal building. This working group is meant for those wishing to compete.

Agility – Level 3

6 weeks, running Saturdays starting May 8, 2026 at 8:00 pm.
(No class May long weekend, May 15)

Agility Level 3 is a continuation of our Level 2 Agility. This class is off leash, so you must be able to keep your dog under control at all times. Handlers will be introduced to more advanced handling skills, obstacle discrimination and expanding on distance work introduced in Level 2.

PREREQUISITES: KAOS “Agility – Level 2” or recommendation of a KAOS agility instructor

Agility – Level 1

6 weeks, running:

  • Thursdays starting May 14, 2026 at 6:30 pm.
  • Thursdays starting May 14, 2026 at 8:00 pm.

Agility Level 1 is a class that will start you on a successful path to having fun
with your canine partner in agility. This class focuses on the beginning
foundations of the sport of agility and will introduce you to some basic, but very
important, skills such as proper jump skills, basic handling skills and proper
footwork. Some of the agility equipment will be introduced. Although the class is
done on leash, dogs should have a good understanding of basic obedience
such as sit, down, stay and should have a strong recall.

PREREQUISITES: KAOS “Obedience Foundation Level 1” | Recommendation from instructor

Obedience Foundation Level 2

6 weeks, running Sunday starting May 10, 2026 at 11:30 am.
(No class May long weekend, May 17)

This class is a continuation of Level 1 Obedience, increasing distance, duration, and distractions while expanding and strengthening the skills learned in Level 1. We will also work on refining the heeling exercise, team bonding through games and tricks, and simulating real world scenarios for a well mannered pet.
